Oh, you mean like, even during the day when there'd normally be sun. [ He was imagining blankets of clouds surrounding Iceland 24/7 or something... ]

[ Not far from the truth tbh. ]

Uh... yeah. What did you think I meant?

Clouds? [ He sounds... not 100% sure. ] I mean, I get that. Rainy season and all.

[volcanic]

[ Now Iceland's confused. ] ...It rains all the time at my place.

[ But he kinda... doesn't want to talk about this anymore because puffins are more important. ]

[ So finicky, Aisu. ]

But it's cold too. [ Hong Kong just won't let it go! He's curious (and confused). ]

[volcanic]

Yeah... kinda. [ Haha, 'kinda.' Anyway, at this point he's clearly trying to scooch away from Hong Kong. ]

[ Hong Kong either takes the hint or he's just too absorbed in thought, because he falls silent. They're almost there! Puffins are right around the corner. Don't mind Hong Kong rubbing his hands together and stamping his feet a little. ]

[volcanic]

[ It's ok Hong Kong, take your time to warm up, because Iceland is going to break away to coo over the puffins. They aren't very active at night, so seeing them all calm and peaceful and sleepy (or, perhaps, not really seeing them at all, deep in their burrows) settles him right down. ]

[ Oh, that's good. Hong Kong can subtly rub his arms and stamp his feet a bit. Quietly! He doesn't wanna disturb Iceland. He is curious as to what Iceland thinks, of course, since they're here for his assessment. ]

[volcanic]

[ Iceland walks from one end of the viewing area to the other, clearly Inspecting. After a few minutes of this, he'll deliver his verdict: ]

They should be fine, but they'd probably like it if you added another water area.

Where should I put it? [ He doesn't even question the validity of the suggestion, just takes it as fact and moves onto the details. ] In the back or nearer the front?

[volcanic]

Near the front. Somewhere it's easily visible to them. The spend most of their time in the water, you know. [ Iceland is still looking at the burrows, more spaced out than 'studying' them. ]

[bauhinia]

Maybe I oughta make the enclosure bigger. [ All for you and your puffins, Aisu. ]

[volcanic]

They'd like that. [ He is Certain. ]

I'll have to think about how to do it. [ There's only so much space, after all. But he's Very Good at finding space where there is no space. ]

[volcanic]

They'll be okay, either way. [ Iceland is starting to wind down. It is the middle of the night, after all! Maybe because he knows the puffins are Okay he can finally relax a little... ]

Yeah. Just "okay." [ He's set on this now! You've got him zeroed in on the goal. Gotta make these puffins' lives EXTRAORDINARY. The most puffin puffins that ever puffed.

Uh, no, they need to be better than that. [ Iceland isn't too prickly, surprisingly- he's running on empty here. Mooommm can we go yeeettt. ]

[ Waitin' on you to lead us outta here, Iceland. ] That's right. I'll make sure it's good.

[ Iceland will stretch and then yeah, they can head outta here. ] It's kind of your job, you know.
